Items are added to the "Edit Box" as you enter them in the "Enter Item" box.
This enables you to verify and edit any item, and recalculate the running total.
Any calculation in the "Paper Tape" can be copied to the "Edit Box" for editing and recalculating the total.
You can select "Round to 2 decimal places" at any time. "Do not round" is the default.

- MyCalculator is intended for non-scientific calculations, and is most useful for adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing long lists of numbers.
- You can enter items and operators in the "Enter Item" box and the "Edit Box" using the calculator's keypad , your keyboard, and when your keyboard's "Numlock" is on, you can use your keyboard's number pad.
- If you have entered an item incorrectly, you can change its value and its operator in the "Edit Box".
- Click "Recalculate" to get the new total.
- When you change or add an item in the "Edit Box", it must be preceded by an operator (+, -, x or /).
- You must use a lower case x for multiplication and / for division.
- Copy any calculation, or part of it, from the "Paper Tape" to the "Edit Box" for editing and recalculating the total.
- You can also drag and drop items from the "Paper Tape" to the "Edit Box".
- The "Paper Tape" and "Total" boxes are read-only.
- Use the "Clear" button or your keyboard's Escape (ESC) key to clear the contents in the "Total", "Enter Item" and "Edit Box".
- Use the "Erase Paper Tape" button to clear all the contents of the "Paper Tape" box.
- Select "Round to 2 decimal places" at any time to view items entered and the running total rounded to two decimals.
- The running total is always displayed in the "Total" box.
- The "Memory" box is read only.
- Click M SHOW/HIDE to show or hide the "Memory" box. You can position it anywhere by clicking and dragging the "Drag me" button.
- Click M+T to add the value in the "Total" box to the Memory's current value.
- Click M+I to add the value of the "Enter Item" box to the Memory's current value.
- Click M Enter to place the Memory's value into the "Enter Item" box or the "Edit Box", depending on which one you were last working in, for use in the next calculation.
- Click M Clear to clear the Memory's value.
This application uses Javascript to enter items and do calculations. Please type carefully and not too quickly.
